The Forest Railway Stories is a children's book series about the adventures of the engines working on the Dean Forest Railway. Characters Wilbur Wabbit, Station Master Winston and Dusty Driver Dave are working members of the Forest Railway and like to keep it 'up-and-running'. 

The books are written and illustrated by Matt Crossfield, award winning illustrator. Railways have always been one of his interests and he hopes to continue writing more. These delightful picture books follow the mishaps and episodes of Prairie 5541, Pannier 9681 and of course, Teddy the Green Diesel Engine.
